About Amber
I have been teaching in the afterschool setting for 10+ years. I have tutored students from kindergarten to 8th grade. I have test prepped students who have received 4s on their New York State Exams. I also have a pending Bachelor’s degree in English which helps support all of the skills I have built in my working career with youth.

- Lessons will take place Monday-Thursday starting at 7:30PM and on Saturday - Sunday starting at 11:30AM.
- Lesson will begin with a daily check in. I want to know how your day was as this can greatly impact motivation and level of focus.
- I have a background in teaching visual arts and love to give participants the space to use any of their creative skills when it comes to learning a new topic. This helps bridge connections and understanding.
-This lessons are geared towards elementary and middle school aged students.

She is very supportive, easy to work with and her method of teaching give a clearer understanding of the material she covered with my daughter. She is always on time and she is able to give clarity with all the topics she went over. My daughter have a great time working with her to prepare for the state exam. I highly recommend her.
