About Grace
I am a dedicated Biology tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, helping students understand challenging topics, improve their academic performance, and develop greater confidence in the subject. I believe Biology is best learnt through understanding rather than memorising large amounts of information. My lessons are designed to make complex concepts simple, logical, and engaging.
Over the years, I have supported students with different abilities, learning styles, and academic goals. I adapt each lesson to suit the individual learner, whether they need help with fundamental concepts, exam preparation, revision, or specific areas they find difficult.
My teaching covers a wide range of Biology topics, including cell biology, genetics, human anatomy and physiology, ecology, evolution, microbiology, and molecular biology. I use clear explanations, diagrams, examples, and practice questions to make lessons interactive and effective.
I also focus on developing important exam skills, such as interpreting questions, applying biological knowledge, explaining processes accurately, and avoiding common mistakes. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate throughout each session.
My goal is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. I want every learner to leave each lesson with a clearer understanding of Biology, increased confidence, and greater motivation to succeed.

My Biology lessons are designed to make complex topics clear, engaging, and easy to remember. I believe Biology becomes much more interesting when students understand how concepts connect to real life rather than simply memorising facts. In each lesson, I adapt my teaching style to the student’s level, learning goals, and pace.
We can work on core Biology topics such as cell biology, genetics, human physiology, ecology, evolution, and microbiology, while also developing strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills. I use clear explanations, diagrams, examples, and targeted questions to help students build confidence and understand difficult ideas step by step.
Whether you are preparing for school exams, working towards an important qualification, or simply want to strengthen your understanding of Biology, lessons will be structured around your individual needs. I encourage students to ask questions, explore ideas, and learn from mistakes in a supportive environment.
