About Sudakshina
I'm a passionate Digital Illustrator, Bespoke Book Designer, and CGI Artist with roots in fine arts since Grade 1. For over 7 years, I've guided young minds and design enthusiasts, enriching their creative pursuits. With a solid foundation from the renowned Vancouver Film School, I've explored the realms of advertisements, music videos, and freelancing, honing my expertise in CGI and digital design. It's now my mission to impart this treasure trove of knowledge to you. As we embark on this creative journey, every brushstroke, design, and character will echo our collective passion and dedication. In my classes, discipline blends seamlessly with devotion. I believe in a hands-on, immersive approach to teaching. Drawing from my vast experience and formal training, I integrate traditional teaching methods with contemporary digital tools.
Kids:
- line, shape value, colour, space, texture, balance, contrast, repetition
Beginner:
- Introduction to drawing basics, shading, and colour theory.
- Basics of Procreate (digital art for those who have the tools).
- Introduction to oil pastels and simple illustrations.
Intermediate:
- Advanced techniques in Procreate (depth, layering, textures).
- Character and food illustration.
- Design principles in Photoshop.
- Exploring advanced oil pastel techniques.
Advanced Courses:
- Life drawing with emphasis on anatomy
- Advanced Photoshop projects.
- Creating a personal art portfolio.
Will customise classes according to the student's interests.
Each session commences with a brief discussion about a specific technique or concept, followed by practical demonstrations.
