About Aria

My teaching approach in Chemistry is clear, structured, and results-driven. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding through detailed explanations, interactive lessons, and real-world connections. Whether you're preparing for the AP Chemistry test or tackling advanced topics, I break down complex theories into manageable parts. I provide targeted drills, worksheets, and timed practice tests to sharpen your problem-solving skills and improve speed and accuracy. Together, we’ll tackle topics like chemical equilibrium, thermodynamics, kinetics, electrochemistry, and atomic structure with depth and clarity. I also include topics from analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, and biochemistry to give you a broader perspective. For students working on labs or reports, I offer guidance in experimental analysis and scientific writing. I make sure you understand both the “why” and “how” behind each experiment. My method encourages curiosity while preparing you for high scores and academic excellence. I support students who aim to use chemistry for public health, teaching, or research by helping them build strong foundations and confidence. Every lesson is designed to help you grow and succeed, step by step. With the right support, you’ll walk into your exam feeling prepared and motivated.

With over 9 years of experience and a Master of Chemistry (MChem) degree, I specialize in guiding students through the complex yet fascinating world of atmospheric chemistry and environmental pollution. My teaching journey has been dedicated to making intricate concepts like smog formation, ozone depletion, acid rain, and greenhouse gas effects accessible and engaging.

I've successfully worked with environmental science students and those pursuing careers in air quality research, policy-making, and climate change mitigation. My sessions are tailored to help learners connect chemical principles to real-world environmental challenges. Whether it's decoding photochemical reactions behind urban smog or understanding the role of CFCs in ozone thinning, I bring clarity and relevance to each topic.

I’m especially passionate about empowering students who aim to make a difference through science and policy. Many of my students have gone on to excel in university exams, research projects, and climate initiatives. I prioritize building strong conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills over rote memorization.

My approach blends interactive discussions, visual aids, and real-life case studies to encourage scientific curiosity and environmental awareness. I also help students develop strong written and analytical skills essential for assignments and lab reports.
