About Wren

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My passion lies in the fascinating world of food preservation chemistry and food analysis. I love exploring how chemical changes occur during food spoilage and the vital role antioxidants and emulsifiers play in keeping food fresh. In my lessons, I also dive into the science behind preservation methods such as canning, drying, and fermentation.
I enjoy showing students how chemistry is not just a subject but a powerful tool for protecting food safety and enhancing quality. By connecting theory with real-world applications, I make complex concepts both clear and engaging. My approach ensures that students build a strong understanding of how chemistry explains everyday processes we often take for granted.
I guide learners to see the hidden chemistry that determines why food lasts, why it spoils, and how we can control those processes. Together, we uncover the science that links molecules to flavor, nutrition, and preservation.
