About Sienna

My teaching approach in Chemistry is centered on clear understanding and practical application. I believe that mastering Chemistry comes from seeing how concepts connect to real processes. Each topic is taught step by step, ensuring students can confidently move from basic ideas to complex problem-solving. Whether it’s stoichiometry, balancing chemical equations, or exploring reaction kinetics, every lesson focuses on accuracy and logical thinking. I use a structured and patient approach that helps students develop confidence in tackling even the toughest equations. Together, we break down chemical reactions into smaller parts, analyze what happens at each stage, and learn why reactions behave the way they do. Lessons also include related subjects like thermodynamics, equilibrium, and atomic structure to build a strong foundation. My sessions often use interactive tools like Cell Explorer and Biotech Dreamer to make learning engaging and realistic. These help students visualize chemical change and connect theory to real-world applications. I provide personalized guidance to ensure their calculations are precise and their understanding deep. Each student receives attention suited to their pace, strengths, and learning goals. My goal is to help them think like chemists—curious, analytical, and confident. Together, we work toward mastering Chemistry with clarity and a sense of achievement. Every lesson builds a stronger understanding of how the chemical world shapes everything around us.

I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MPhil in Chemistry. My passion lies in exploring how science and art come together to preserve human creativity. I take a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to teaching, focusing on the chemistry of art and cultural heritage preservation. Through my lessons, students discover how chemistry helps us understand and protect artworks from the effects of time.

I specialize in pigment analysis, material degradation, and conservation treatments, blending theoretical knowledge with real-world application. Using historical art pieces as case studies, I help learners connect chemical principles with artistic processes. We explore how factors like light, humidity, and pollution interact with pigments and materials. I also introduce students to analytical techniques such as spectroscopy, microscopy, and chromatography to study and conserve artworks.

Ethical restoration practices form an important part of my teaching. I encourage discussions about authenticity, sustainability, and the responsibility of scientists in preserving history. I’ve guided art history students, conservationists, and anyone fascinated by the science behind protecting culture.

Every lesson aims to spark curiosity and respect for the delicate bond between art and chemistry. Together, we learn how chemistry not only explains the beauty around us but also helps preserve it. My goal is to inspire others to use science to safeguard our shared cultural legacy for generations to come.
