I’m a Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of experience and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. My main focus is corrosion chemistry and the strategies used to protect materials from deterioration. I specialise in teaching electrochemical corrosion mechanisms, including passivation and cathodic protection, as well as guiding students on selecting materials for optimal corrosion resistance.
In my lessons, I emphasise practical understanding by using industrial case studies and real-world examples of material degradation. These examples help students connect theory to actual engineering and industrial challenges. I believe that seeing chemistry in action makes complex concepts more intuitive and engaging.
