About Anja
I am a highly-qualified and experienced English instructor: I have been teaching for over 13 years, delivering English courses to students from Japan, Brazil, Korea, Mexico, Italy, Colombia, and more. I hold a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, and two Certificates, including the Cambridge CELTA certificate to teach English. I am a native speaker with Canadian pronunciation. As a speaker of four languages (English, Croatian, Spanish, and French), I know first-hand how difficult it can be to learn a new language. That's why I teach my courses in a way that challenges you to learn, but is sensitive to your needs.

My goal is to support you in becoming independent, confident, and expressive in English. I see myself as a coach, giving you the tools you need to reach your goals: IELTS/TOEFL, Business English, Advanced Grammar, North American Pronunciation, Public Speaking, and more. I start my classes by diagnosing the specific problems you are having in English, and create lesson plans to solve them. You will always have maximum time to speak, and be corrected every class. Lessons are organized around your real life: for example, if you need English for work, we can learn professional email writing, how to present effectively, and how to make "small talk" in business environments. In my classes, it's all about YOU!
