With a Bachelor of Education in French as a Second Language and over 8 years of experience, I specialise in teaching complete beginners. My approach is patient, humorous, and designed to make learning French enjoyable. I incorporate games, skits, flashcards, and storytelling into lessons to make grammar and vocabulary engaging and memorable. About the lesson

My method of teaching French focuses on fun, laughter, and everyday communication. I use humour to help you relax, because when you’re laughing, you’re learning without even realising it. My sessions often include games, quick skits, storytelling, and playful challenges. We break big ideas into small, simple parts. I’ll show you grammar through funny examples, easy patterns, and relatable situations. I also use songs and rhythm to help with pronunciation and vocabulary memory. Speaking is at the heart of every lesson. I help learners talk about their lives, share opinions, and ask questions in French—even from day one. It’s okay to feel nervous. I’ve helped many learners go from shy to confident using step-by-step support and gentle correction. I also work well with those who are adapting to new cultures or environments. I create a space where you feel safe making mistakes and proud of your progress. My goal is to make French feel fun, useful, and part of your daily life. Together, we’ll turn the “hard parts” of French into moments of discovery and maybe even a few good laughs.
