About Tess
I am a Chicago-based dance artist and movement therapist that's been leading workshops throughout the world.
After graduating with a degree in Dance and Environmental Studies, I've lived and worked as an artist and teacher while doing movement research through many different cultures and have learned a lot of systems, modalities, and ways of healing for the past 6 years.
I'm currently teaching Yoga, Meditation, Qi Gong, Functional Fitness, Dance Therapy online to corporate businesses and have some open time I'd like to use to Tutor.
I'd love the opportunity to discuss how I can be an added value to your time in creating a lab/workshop in various topics around mindfulness.

My teaching approach will depend. I have various ways of going about a class depending on the time of day, type of day, people involved, etc... I'm continually trying to figure out ways in which to create a "global" studio with my classes online and make everyone feel heard and seen, if they wish to, while also having safety in trust.
These labs and tutoring sessions will be a chance to go in depth on the art of either yoga, Qi Gong, meditation, and dance as therapy in a creative and welcoming space. I will be more of a facilitator during these sessions.
We can explore specific topics on what your needs are.
Most sessions will Include discussion, practice, and personal reflection.
We will begin to push boundaries of your known experience in these practices in
consciousness with sensitivity and at your own pace.
This is time to devote to your own investigation of your own body using various systems of movement.
