About Sachin
I have a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire and over six years of experience in tutoring mathematics. My background in software testing and programming has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my teaching. I want to teach because I love helping students gain confidence in maths—a subject that many find challenging. I believe that anyone can excel in maths with the right guidance and approach. My goal is to make learning engaging, practical, and tailored to your needs so that you not only understand the concepts but also enjoy the process! My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching Methodology I believe in making maths engaging and accessible by tailoring my lessons to each student's learning style. My approach includes: Concept-Based Learning: I focus on building strong foundational concepts before moving to advanced topics. Problem-Solving Techniques: I use real-world examples and step-by-step problem-solving methods to improve understanding. Interactive and Adaptive Teaching: I encourage questions and discussions to ensure active participation and deeper comprehension. Use of Technology & Visual Aids: I incorporate online tools, graphs, and visual aids to enhance learning. Practice & Feedback: I provide regular practice problems and constructive feedback to track progress. Lesson Length & Structure Each lesson typically lasts 60–90 minutes, depending on the student's needs. The session includes: Concept Explanation (20–30 min) – Covering theory and fundamental principles. Guided Practice (20–30 min) – Solving problems together with step-by-step explanations. Independent Problem Solving & Review (20–30 min) – Allowing students to apply concepts independently, followed by feedback and corrections. Qualifications & Experience Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire. 6+ years of tutoring experience in mathematics and covering school and colleges. Experience in software testing and programming, which helps incorporate logic and problem-solving skills into teaching maths. Who Are My Lessons For? School & College Students (Ages 6–16) needing support in maths subjects (Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, etc.).
