About Damon
I hold an MPhil in Mathematics and bring more than five years of tutoring experience. My teaching goes beyond problem-solving—I focus on reducing math anxiety and fostering confidence. I believe learning math should be empowering, not stressful. I often work with students who feel discouraged or overwhelmed. Through patience and care, I help them rebuild trust in their own abilities. Growth mindset techniques allow them to embrace challenges with courage. I teach mathematics by focusing on reflection, patience, and conceptual understanding. My lessons emphasize clarity in topics such as calculus, number theory, proofs, and abstract algebra. Complex ideas are simplified step by step.
Students are encouraged to learn in a way that suits their personal rhythm. I enjoy helping DIY learners and researchers craft their own approach to theorems. Curiosity and independent discovery are celebrated in my sessions.
