About Siena
I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics. My passion lies in introducing students to the beauty of mathematical logic and proof theory. I focus on formal reasoning, propositional and predicate logic, and foundational set theory. These topics form the backbone of advanced high school and early university mathematics. I use engaging paradoxes and problem-solving exercises to make abstract ideas accessible and exciting. My lessons are designed to develop both precision and creativity in thinking. I have worked extensively with students pursuing philosophy, computer science, and pure mathematics. This experience allows me to tailor lessons to diverse academic goals. My teaching style in mathematics is warm, interactive, and storytelling-based. I believe maths is more than numbers—it’s a story waiting to be discovered. I work especially well with students who struggle with maths anxiety or need a fresh perspective on numbers. Lessons cover a wide range of topics, including logical puzzles, historical maths anecdotes, pattern recognition, and conceptual visualisation. I am especially skilled at working with Quant and Economist learners, guiding them towards deeper understanding and swift progress. My goal is to make maths fun, relatable, and inspiring.
