About Lyra
I am an Architecture tutor with 4 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over the years, I have successfully guided around 250 students, helping them understand complex architectural concepts and develop practical design skills. My teaching covers Architectural Design, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Sustainable Architecture, Building Materials, Construction Techniques, and Architectural History.
My teaching philosophy is centred on creativity, practicality, and understanding. I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons engaging and relatable. I encourage students to think innovatively while maintaining professional and ethical standards. Flexibility is key in my approach, as I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and pace, ensuring they gain both knowledge and confidence.
I also emphasise collaboration and hands-on learning, guiding students through assignments, projects, and portfolio preparation. Many of my students have achieved excellent academic results and improved their problem-solving and design skills, readying them for future careers in Architecture. My goal is to make learning Architecture inspiring, practical, and enjoyable for every student.

My teaching approach in Architecture focuses on making complex concepts simple, practical, and engaging. I also provide guidance on assignments, project work, and preparation for exams or portfolio presentations, aiming to build both confidence and competence. By combining practical examples, creative exercises, and interactive learning, I help students gain a deep understanding of Architecture while preparing them for academic success and real-world professional challenges.
