About Evangeline
With 6 years of experience as a Chemistry tutor, I bring a student-focused approach that combines subject expertise, patience, and practical problem-solving. I teach students from K–12 to college first year and enjoy helping learners turn complicated chemistry topics into understandable and achievable concepts.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students who have different levels of preparation and confidence. This has taught me the importance of flexibility and individualized instruction. I take time to identify knowledge gaps, understand each learner’s objectives, and create lessons that suit their academic requirements.
My areas of teaching include chemical formulas, periodic classification, molecular structures, bonding, reaction mechanisms, stoichiometric calculations, gases, solutions, equilibrium, acids and bases, energy changes, and introductory organic chemistry. I can also provide focused support for homework, tests, examinations, revision, and college coursework.
I believe effective tutoring is more than explaining answers. It is about teaching students how to think through a question, select the right method, recognize errors, and arrive at solutions independently. I use examples, guided practice, questioning, and constructive feedback to reinforce learning.
My goal is to make every lesson productive and encouraging while helping students become more confident, analytical, and capable in Chemistry.

My chemistry lessons are designed to make challenging topics easier to understand, remember, and apply. I teach students from K–12 through the first year of college, adapting each session to their academic level, learning pace, and specific goals. Instead of relying on memorization alone, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind every concept.
Lessons can cover atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical bonding, equations, stoichiometry, acids and bases, solutions, thermochemistry, organic chemistry, and other essential areas. I use clear explanations, worked examples, visual approaches, and practice questions to turn abstract ideas into practical understanding.
Each session is interactive and student-centered. We identify difficult areas, strengthen foundational knowledge, solve problems together, and gradually build confidence with independent practice. For students preparing for school examinations, assignments, or college-level coursework, I can provide targeted guidance and structured revision.
My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether you need help catching up, improving grades, preparing for an important exam, or developing stronger chemistry skills, every lesson is tailored to help you make steady and meaningful progress.
