About Alok
Hi! I am a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Oxford, where I work in sustainable finance. I have experience with financial banks such as Barclays.
I mentor students and professionals from beginners learning Python to engineers preparing for ML interviews and data science roles. I have been working in Natural Language Processing for the past 10 years. For the last 4 years, I have been taking programming labs for engineering students at NIT Silchar. I teach programming languages such as C, Python, R and JAVA.
My areas of expertise are Natural language processing, computer vision and machine learning. My services are not limited to programming languages.
With over 10 years of experience, I have taught a wide range of subjects, including Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science, from high school to advanced university levels.
I offer flexible online tutoring sessions throughout the week.

My teaching methodology is very flexible. It depends on the level of the student I am dealing with. If a student knows the basics, I increase my level, and if he is interested in solving the problems that are asked of him in company interviews, then I also teach him how to approach those problems.
I take a student-centred and flexible approach to tutoring. My priority is to ensure that each student thoroughly understands a concept before we move forward.
