About Sunny
Hello! My name is Sunny, and I am currently studying Computer Science (CS) at Bellevue College in Washington, USA.
My journey with CS started with a curiosity about how technology works and how a few lines of code can turn an idea into something meaningful. Over time, I have developed a strong interest in programming, algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.
Throughout my studies, I have worked with several programming languages, including Python, C++, and Java. I have also explored fundamental Computer Science concepts such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA), and algorithmic complexity.
Beyond learning how to write code, I genuinely enjoy understanding the logic behind it and exploring how CS concepts are applied in real-world technology.
I also enjoy explaining difficult concepts in simpler ways and helping others discover the satisfaction of solving problems on their own. I believe that anyone can learn programming with the right guidance, patience, and curiosity.
Whether you are taking your first steps into programming or looking to strengthen your CS foundations, I would be happy to be part of your learning journey.
Let's explore the fascinating world of Computer Science together!

I believe Computer Science is much more than just writing code. It is about understanding how things work, thinking creatively, solving problems, and discovering how technology shapes the world around us.
**My Teaching Approach**
My teaching philosophy is simple: understand the concept first, then put it into practice.
Instead of having students merely memorize syntax or follow coding examples without understanding them, I focus on explaining the logic behind each concept. I use relatable examples, visual explanations, interactive exercises, and practical applications to make even challenging topics easier to understand.
I encourage students to ask questions, experiment with different solutions, make mistakes, and develop their own problem-solving skills.
**What I Can Teach**
Depending on your experience and learning goals, our lessons can cover:
- Programming Fundamentals: Learn Python, C++, or Java, from basic syntax and variables to functions, loops, and problem-solving.
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Understand classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation, and abstraction through practical examples.
- Data Structures: Explore arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, and other fundamental structures.
- Algorithms and Problem-Solving: Learn searching, sorting, recursion, algorithm analysis, and Big-O notation.
- Academic Support: Get help understanding programming assignments, reviewing course materials, preparing for exams, and strengthening your understanding of introductory Computer Science topics, including AP Computer Science A.
**A Typical Lesson**
Every lesson is built on your current level and goals. A typical session may include:
1. Concept Introduction: Understand the topic and why it matters.
2. Step-by-Step Explanation: Break down challenging concepts using simple examples and visual demonstrations.
3. Hands-On Practice: Write code, solve problems, and experiment with different approaches.
4. Real-World Connections: Explore how the concepts are used in actual software and technology.
5. Review and Feedback: Summarize what you have learned and identify areas for improvement.
Who Are My Lessons For?
- High school students learning programming or preparing for AP Computer Science A.
- Beginners who want to start learning Python, C++, or Java.
- College freshmen and sophomores taking introductory Computer Science courses.
- Students who understand basic coding but want to improve their problem-solving and algorithmic thinking.
Whether you are writing your first line of code or exploring more advanced programming concepts, I want to help you become a confident, independent problem-solver.
My goal is not only to teach you how to code, but also to help you understand the fascinating ideas behind Computer Science and discover the creativity and possibilities it brings!
