About Hope
Hi, I'm Hope, and I teach English to students of all ages and levels — from young beginners to teens preparing for exams to adults building conversational or professional fluency.
I don't work from one fixed method. Every student learns differently, so I draw on a mix of approaches: structured grammar and exam preparation, natural conversation practice, playful games for younger learners, and a slower, student-led pace for those who want to build confidence steadily. Lessons are shaped around your goals and how you learn best, not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
I have been tutoring English for nearly 5 years. I am a certified TEFL teacher as well as a certified English Reader, Prompter and Scribe. This is a person that works with medically disadvantaged students to help them prepare for their examinations ranging from grade 1-12. I have worked with numerous adult students helping them advance in the subject whether it being related to business/work relation and travelling.
Whatever your starting point, I'll meet you there and help you move forward with clear, steady progress.
