About Matteo
I am a Guitar tutor with over 13 years of experience teaching college students. My mission is to make learning Guitar fun, inspiring, and tailored to each student’s strengths. I combine creativity, structured guidance, and mentorship to help students develop both skills and confidence. In my lessons, I cover chords, scales, music theory, improvisation, and songwriting.
I also encourage students to explore their own musical style, compose their own pieces, and perform regularly. To make learning engaging, I use interactive exercises, play-along sessions, and modern digital tools. I adapt my teaching approach to match each student’s pace and learning style. Beyond Guitar, I focus on building discipline, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence.
My lessons are structured yet flexible, ensuring students feel supported while challenged to grow. Seeing my students develop into confident, expressive musicians is my greatest reward. I am dedicated to guiding each student toward their musical goals, making every lesson exciting, meaningful, and inspiring.

I approach guitar teaching with creativity, critical thinking, and mentorship at the core. My goal is to help students not only play songs but also understand music deeply. I encourage improvisation, experimentation with different styles, and even composing original pieces. This allows students to develop their unique musical identity while building strong technical skills.
Accountability is an essential part of my method. I help students set realistic goals, maintain practice routines, and track their progress. I believe consistent effort paired with guidance leads to steady improvement and confidence.
Besides guitar, I can teach music theory, rhythm training, songwriting, and basic ear training. My lessons are interactive and personalized, adapting to each student’s pace and learning style. I strive to make every session productive, engaging, and inspiring for lifelong musical growth.
