About Connor
With 13 years of teaching piano, I have worked with students across all age groups, from school children to college students and working professionals. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding each student’s strengths, guiding them patiently, and inspiring a lifelong love for music. I design lessons that combine technique, creativity, and musical understanding, making learning piano both fun and effective. I
have helped students perform in recitals, competitions, and community events, giving them confidence and performance experience. My approach balances theory and practice, ensuring students gain technical mastery while developing expressive and creative skills. I also use modern teaching tools and personalized practice plans to make lessons more engaging and productive.
Seeing my students grow, perform, and enjoy music is the greatest reward of my work. My mission is to nurture talent, inspire creativity, and help every student reach their full potential in piano and music.

My approach to teaching Piano is based on compassion, strong communication, and a supportive learning environment. I believe students learn best when they feel understood and motivated. I focus on building trust so students feel confident to express themselves through music.
Lessons are organized and taught in simple steps, starting from fundamentals like hand position, finger control, rhythm, and note reading. I explain each concept clearly and patiently, using examples and repetition when needed. Good communication helps students learn faster and practice correctly.
I support students throughout their learning journey by giving positive feedback and clear guidance. I understand challenges and help students improve without pressure. My compassionate approach helps students stay consistent and enjoy learning piano.
In addition to Piano, I teach supporting subjects such as Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Scales, and Basic Composition. I also guide students on effective practice routines. With continuous support and clear communication, I help students become confident, skilled, and passionate musicians.
