About Maria
I lived in London for the last 21 years where I completed a BA in Fine Art and a Masters degree in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins College. For the past seven years, I’ve been teaching Fashion at London College of Fashion, Kingston University and Ravensbourne University to foundation, BA and Master level students. I’ve developed specific techniques to assist students in their creative design development starting from initial concept all the way to final collection.
I’m compassionate, caring, very calm and easy to talk to.
I take time to listen to my students so I can guide them in the right direction. I also understand how difficult it is to initiate creative energy and I'm very good at finding ways that can help students develop their inner style and creativity.
I look forward to meeting my new students.

I have developed special techniques and exercises which help students unleash and explore their creativity. I will be able to help you develop your ideas, teach you how to extract design ideas from your concepts and how to push your ideas forward into final garments/pieces. I’m also available to teach experimental draping techniques and can help you develop unique and interesting body of work.
Throughout my experience, I have taught a range of students from complete beginners to Master degree students at Kingston University in London.
