After five years in the industry, earning my MFA at Texas State, and seeing various writing projects from ideation to publication, I spent years teaching composition at institutions like Temple, Drexel, and CUNY. My favorite part of the job wasn’t the lecturing—it was the breakthrough moments during one-on-one office hours.

As a former professor of rhetoric and composition with an MFA in Creative Writing, I specialize in a "dual-track" approach.
