About Charlotte
"Coaching chess is a quiet labor of love for me. I am a FIDE Instructor who prefers methodical preparation over quick fixes.
My 10 years of experience have taught me that improvement is a steady climb. I guide students through Sydney both online and in person. Watching a student gain rating points over months remains my favorite part of this job.
I have coached hundreds of learners since I started. I enjoy a good cup of coffee while studying grandmaster games."

"The smell of wood pieces clicking against a board sets the tone for our work together. I build sessions around the core pillars of attacking play, middlegame planning, and precise endgame technique. You will work on pattern recognition and tactical puzzles to sharpen your internal clock. My focus remains on clear structures that simplify complex positions during tournament play.
I incorporate deep game analysis of your own matches to catch recurring mistakes. We review pawn structures to ensure you understand the geometry of the board. This 10 year background allows me to pinpoint exactly where your calculations fail.
Time management becomes a second nature skill after we drill specific scenarios. These meetings provide a space for rigorous evaluation of your competitive habits. Send me a message if you want to explore a session together."
