My name is Essie and I am a final year student at the University of Cape Town. I have been tutoring for the past 2.5 years and the subjects I tutor include mathematical literacy, English and history. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you work towards achieving your goals.

My teaching style differs to cater for individual needs and the student is very involved in choosing what method best works for them. My style includes active recall where the student and I switch roles at some point and I become the 'student' and this helps fill in the knowledge gaps
