About Rida
Having taught a wide variety of students over the last 4 years, both privately and publicly, I take immense joy in both dispelling anxieties surrounding English as a subject but also visibly seeing when something clicks, and seeing that result on an exam paper! I started teaching GCSE 3 years ago and since then every child I have has achieved 2-3 grades higher than when they began, the most recent of which I taught for only a month before she went on to achieve 9s after getting 6s in her mocks. None of my kids have ever got less than a 7 and I truly love seeing the work we put in together get them there.

I tend to keep my lessons student-led, allowing the student to communicate with me where they feel their weaknesses lie and anxieties begin. While addressing these issues, I tend to tweak things such as reading comprehension, language analysis, and exam technique as we go along, breaking things down into smaller, digestible and less daunting pieces.
