About Sadie
I'm in my final year of studying English Literature at university, and I want to share my skills in order to help other students enter their exams with confidence. I am currently working on a dissertation exploring race in 1950s literature, but my interests extend back to medieval literature, and I'm particularly passionate about helping people understand Shakespeare!

I'm passionate about teaching English at all levels, and am also happy to provide lessons in spelling and grammar. Typically my lessons last around an hour, but this can be adjusted for shorter attention spans! I am familiar with most literature texts which are on the secondary school curriculum, but I still ask that you communicate which texts you are studying with me so that I can plan our lessons accordingly. I will mould our lesson structure around your needs, but typically I will focus on balancing a core understanding of the text with a solid essay technique (achieved through making 'mock' essay plans) which will allow you to go into your exams with plenty of confidence!
