About Thea
I am a Final year student studying at the University of Exeter who completed my A Levels in 2022 receiving an A* in English Literature and Level 9 at GCSE in both Literature and Language. During my A Levels I led KS3 and GCSE English Literature and Language study groups and have been tutoring students online in multiple subjects for 2 years, specialising in English. My prior studies in History, Religious Studies and Classics have enhanced my tutoring style in English with an emphasis on contextual factors and language and structural techniques.

Our lessons will be structured around the students' preferred learning style whether it be strength and recall, written question style, instruction led or led through analysis. Each lesson topic and plan will be agreed on beforehand through email or text communication or in the prior lesson. Student-led planning to ensure they get the most out of each lesson. Sessions of either 1 hour or 2 hour length are preferred for GCSE and A Level tutoring and sessions of 30 minutes + for 11+ and KS3 sessions.
