About Jenna
I believe language learning should be encouraging, engaging, and adapted to each learner’s individual needs. No two students are the same, so I focus on creating a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as part of the learning process, not something to fear. I aim to make my lessons interactive, practical, and confidence-boosting — whether that’s through conversation practice, targeted grammar help, or exam strategies. I love teaching because there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing students grow — not just in their skills, but in their self-belief. Watching a student go from feeling unsure to tackling challenges independently is one of the best parts of being a tutor. My goal is always to help students build the knowledge, confidence, and motivation they need to succeed both in exams and beyond.

I tutor German and English for students aged 11–18. I offer conversation classes, exam paper run-throughs, help with exam technique, and support with any subject-specific challenges. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals and needs. A typical session might start with a warm-up (such as quick vocab or grammar review), move into focused work on a specific skill (speaking, writing, reading, or exam questions), and finish with a recap and practice task to build confidence between lessons. I aim to create a supportive, structured environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and steadily improve. I’m passionate about making language learning engaging, accessible, and rewarding — and I’d love to help you reach your goals!
