About Liv
Music has always been my passion. I started playing piano at the age of five and have been dedicated to developing my craft ever since. I completed GCSE and A Level Music and am now in my final year studying a BA in Jazz at Leeds Conservatoire. Along the way, I have achieved all ABRSM piano grades, completed the Trinity Jazz grades, and passed Music Theory up to Grade 5, giving me a strong technical and theoretical foundation.
I am a member of both JJJA and Tomorrow’s Warriors (London based Jazz Groups) which has given me valuable experience performing, collaborating, and growing as a professional jazz musician.
Alongside performing as a jazz pianist, I am also a composer with a particular focus on film scoring. It is another area I am passionate about teaching. Whether it’s performance, improvisation, or writing original music, I bring enthusiasm, experience, and dedication to everything I do.

My 50-minute lessons are tailored entirely to you and your goals, whether you’re a complete beginner or further along in your piano journey. I focus on building real confidence at the piano by strengthening foundations first: scales, basic music theory, rhythm, feel, and strong listening skills. We’ll explore great pianists as listening examples and break down what makes their playing work. I believe understanding must always come first — knowing what you’re playing and why, not just copying patterns. With previous teaching experience as a sports coach, I bring patience, structure, and encouragement to lessons for all ages and levels.
