About Tharuki
I've always loved English and the power of language to connect people, inspire creativity, and develop skills that last a lifetime. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to share that passion while helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, and communication skills.
I'm a final-year Bachelor of Biomedical Science student at Monash University and a graduate of Baulkham Hills High School. I achieved a mark of 97 in HSC English Advanced and 48 in English Extension 1, giving me a strong understanding of analytical, creative, and persuasive writing. With over two years of private tutoring experience, I've worked with students of different ages, abilities, and learning styles, and I enjoy tailoring my approach to help each student succeed.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy creating art, reading, and spending time with my very spoiled cat, Tigson!

One-hour, personalised tutoring lessons designed to maximise student engagement and learning outcomes.
Over two years of private tutoring experience, supporting students with a wide range of learning styles, abilities, and academic goals.
Thorough knowledge of both the Victorian (VCE) and New South Wales (NSW) curricula, enabling lessons that align closely with school requirements and assessment standards.
Experience tutoring students from Years 7–12 across a variety of subjects, including working with students with additional learning needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Lessons are individually tailored to each student's strengths, challenges, and learning preferences, with a focus on building confidence, improving academic performance, and developing effective study skills.
