About Sinead
I'm originally from Dublin in Ireland but I'm currently in my final year at the Royal Northern College of Music studying with Laura Jellicoe and Janet Richardson (piccolo).
In 2021 I was selected as a scholarship student for the Galway Flute Academy and had the opportunity to perform for Sir James Galway. I am an experienced orchestral player, soloist and chamber musician and have had success in numerous competitions and auditions.
I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to learn from fantastic teachers since I started playing the flute and I now want to give back some of the knowledge I have learnt. I'm a bubbly and enthusiastic person and I give 100% to everything I do whether that is my performing or teaching work.

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn an instrument and I am passionate about my love of music to others!
I tailor each of my lessons to the individual and aim to get the best out of every student so that they can reach their full potential. I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where my students can enjoy themselves and feel motivated and encouraged to improve!
In lessons, we will work on the technical aspects of flute playing whilst also developing musicality and aural skills. I am able to fully prepare students for exams or to create short and long term goals for students playing for fun.
