I am a final year language student at the University of Manchester currently studying a degree in Chinese and Japanese. I have a passion for foreign languages and wish to help others discover the joys in learning new languages. Having undergone various teaching internships, I have gained knowledge into teaching and wish to hopefully pursue this career path in the future.

I am a final year language student at the University of Manchester and am currently studying a degree in Chinese and Japanese. Being someone who is extremely passionate about foreign languages, I am more than happy to teach students of all levels, whether it be beginners to advanced, as long as you are willing to learn then I am willing to teach! Having spent my third year of my degree studying in both Japan and China for a year collectively, I discovered new and effective ways of learning languages and wish to share them with anyone wanting to learn! My methodology revolves mainly around what techniques I learned in my year abroad. The best way to learn any language is to immerse and surround yourself in it. Therefore, I will be teaching students practical language and engaging them in deep discussions in the target language in order to practice speaking and listening but also expand vocabulary and grammar. I also like to relate the topic to a broader perspective, e.g. linking topic to pop culture or news articles to make lessons more engaging and relatable.
