About Kristina
Not only is it possible to understand Maths, but I'll also make it enjoyable!
My academic education comprises a Bachelor of Science in Maths, a Master of Science in Maths Education, and a Master of Science in Applied Maths.
I have worked as a teacher and as a university scientific employee. I have about 11 years of tutoring experience with fantastic results.
Now, I am Maths expert educator with a history of academic excellence but in the beginning of high school I was struggling with math just like you. I also thought I wasn't a Maths person.

I specialize in turning complex topics into easy-to-understand concepts. With a degree in Applied Maths and teaching experience, I know the “whys” and “hows” behind maths.
There are two things students need to understand Maths:
1. How to learn efficiently.
Have you ever thought: What do I even do with my brain when I hear Maths? Why does John understand Maths but I don’t?
Hint: it’s not your IQ or natural talent. I know what it feels like to think this way because I was once trapped in a mentality that kept me stuck and anxious. There is a clear path forward—once you learn how to encode information properly, everything changes.
2. Expert Maths teaching.
Maths needs to be presented in a way that aligns with how our brains naturally learn. Not just re-teaching material the same way it’s presented in textbooks, but extracting what the human brain is genuinely hungry for: meaning, relevance, and beauty. This can only be done with deep Maths expertise, experience, and passion—all of which I have in abundance.
So here’s what I help with:
• Clarify the intuition behind mathematical concepts. No matter how complex the maths, I’ll simplify it.
• Teach you to think mathematically and solve problems effectively, drawing from my research background.
• Adapt lessons to your goals using proven teaching methods—no time wasted.
