About Josh
I am a 3rd year student at the University of Reading studying Finance and Investment Banking having completed both Maths and Further Maths at A Level receiving an A and a C respectively. I have always had a naturally mathematics geared brain and hope that I can pass some of my expertise and methodology onto my students

My teaching method is to first go through past papers to identify where the student’s weaknesses may be. This will then be followed up by going through example questions with the student and showing them the method before letting them have a go at a couple on their own. I will then mark the questions and if the student is still struggling on the subject I will go through some more examples in order to make sure they grasp the method.

Josh helped tutor me during my A levels and built my confidence in maths and furthered my knowledge. He is very patient and explains everything in depth.
Josh was thorough and comprehensive in his explanations while helping me prepare for the mathematical aspect of my exam. He helped me learn the basics then went through a past paper in order to identify areas which I was weak at and therefore went into detail helping me understand the topic which meant I didn’t just know the answer, I could apply this to more questions afterwards. Due to Josh’s help I was able to achieve a mark which I thought was impossible and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
