About Cressa
I am an aspiring writer as well as a naturally creative individual.
I have been in the creative writing process since 2014 and have consistently written books since 2019-Now.
I do not have any published/publishable works yet, however, I am currently working on my first book that will be getting published within the next three years, if life permits me to of course. I also have several ideas stored away for any future writing plans, some of these stories have been thought up and simply need to be finalized.
I believe that, as someone who is currently writing a book, I feel that I can give the best insight into creative writing in a more personal way than a published author can. As with publishing a story, there's a certain "detachment" from the joy of the creation of the story. It's a finished project and that can mean out of sight and out of mind for some published writers.
Though I am still just beginning my writing journey, I am enjoying every moment of building my world and creating this book simply because I want to. And I will strive to get you to enjoy writing too, as it is one of the most freeing acts in the world to write for yourself.

Whether you want to find the drive to continue writing that book that you've always wanted to see completed, learn something new about your creativity, or simply find a fun and enjoyable hobby to share with someone, this class can give you all of this, and hopefully more.
The basic starting lesson plan will simply be to get to know you as a student. I will ask you what you're specifically looking for during this lesson, what you wish to do for your writing, and what current problems you are facing when it comes to creative writing. From there the next few lessons will be about beginning to help your creativity along and helping you reach your goal and solve your problems with writing. Workshops will include discussions on topics you want to improve on, with online resources as well as creativity boosters that could just strike that chord for you. We will also be doing small writing exercises to start and evolve your writing in the direction you see fit for your creativity to go. From 80,000-word novels to short stories/poetry, your only boundaries are where you set them.
These lessons will be tailored to each individual, so no one will be learning the same thing. I will also be adaptable to any particular learning style that helps you the most, whether it's one-on-one conversations, homework, or online resources. Whatever you need to learn, let me know and I will do what I can within the expanse of my abilities to make it happen.
More than anything, however, I will strive for these classes to be enjoyable for everyone involved so that these lessons can give you the most important tool for any writer, and that's enjoying writing and the process that comes with it.
Anyone who is interested is welcome, no degrees or levels of education are required. Just know how to read and write, and you're all set to join.
