About Mary Ann
I am a successful art educator. I have strong empathetic skills that enable me to better understand my students' emotional cues. I listen to what my students are saying verbally. I am sensitive to their non-verbal language too. I believe in showing sensitivity and understanding to my students’ opinions and perspectives, regardless of their age group.
I am a hard-working and driven individual who isn't afraid to face a challenge when presented with it. I'm passionate about anything I undertake and I strive to get a job done to the best of my ability. I am open and honest. I will not mislead people and try to be fair in everything I do

I have been teaching on a Sunway College Community Education Programme in Sunway College since 2022. I prepare lesson plans for all the levels I teach.
Learning outcomes in the above mentioned programme include:
1. Achieving a fundamental concept of drawing
2. Achieving observational drawing skills through various interactive and choice- based exercises.
3. Being able to demonstrate the concept of proportion by using line, shape, and sighting
techniques to capture their subject’s likeness.
4. Understanding the process and structure to creating a painting from start to finish.
