About Phoebe
Not just a side hustle, tutoring and teaching is something which I am really passionate about and invested in as I am beginning a career in primary education this year.
I have been tutoring for one year and before then have done various bits of mentoring.
I tutor a range of ages, from 8 up to 18 with lessons usually lasting 30 mins or 1 hour.
I also tutor maths up to GCSE level and have very good feedback from this so far.

I am happy to teach 'problem' topics to students, or to cover whole topics (or even the syllabus) to help with revision and consolidate understanding.
Having learnt how to answer questions myself and tick boxes in exams, I hope I can share this with my students. I cover the content and talk it through with the student, as some questions to check that it has been understood and then when ready work through some exam questions (with help as needed) to show how the knowledge can be applied and to put what has been covered into practice.
Confidence is something I really focus on, to show those who are just beginning their courses that they are more than capable. I don't want any question to seem daunting or throw a student, exam technique is really half of it!
