I teach what I know based on what I myself have been through: from primary support, through 11+, to Cambridge finals.
Confidence is the key: confidence breeds competence, and competence breeds confidence. I establish a rapport and develop trust. I check the foundations, make them strong and build steady progress.
The student must have a positive image of themselves as a successful learner and believe that there is no limit to what they can achieve.
Lesson structure is designed to suit the level, learning style and personality of the student. Homework will be assigned. I will feed back fully to the family after each lesson.
