About Jack
I am an award-winning sound artist and freelance sound designer who graduated with a first class honours degree in music production at the British Institute of music. I have worked with and alongside various musicians, performers and artists. I work freelance scoring for animation, film and live performance as well as recording and mixing narration and Follie as well as building my own personal portfolio. I have had work exhibited at major art institutes in both solo and collaborative exhibition.

I give lessons to those of all ages, abilities. Be it someone who is starting out and needs a gentle and patient teacher to help them along the way or someone with more experience that wants help exploring their own creative style and flair in the field of sound production and design. I also offer lessons in recording voice and field recordings as well as how to dub animation and film or the creation of sound art and soundscapes. I can offer tailored lessons to your specific interests or a more generalized course of lessons that covers the basics and then goes onto the finer details. I work in Logic pro software for mixing but have experience in a range of software if needed. please message me if you would like more information and portfolio

Details
If lesson is cancelled by the student without 24 hours notice I charge a fee of £7. Travel cost will increase if the student wants me to travel longer than an 40 minutes to the lesson. Rates are subject to change if lessons require new software or equipment to be purchased.
