About Momin
I am a First-Class Engineering graduate from the University of Manchester with A*A* in A-Level Maths and Further Maths. I offer online Maths tutoring for KS3, GCSE and A-Level students, with a focus on making difficult topics feel clear, manageable, less intimidating and, most importantly, enjoyable to learn.
I know from experience that Maths can feel overwhelming at first. Some topics that seem confusing initially become much less daunting once they are broken down into logical steps and practised properly. This is the approach I used in my own studies, helping me to achieve top grades in Maths and Further Maths, and in my master's degree. I am eager to help others gain confidence in their own abilities the same way, and to grow to love the process of solving difficult problems.
During university, and in my graduate role at PwC, I regularly explained technical concepts to peers, colleagues and stakeholders with different levels of understanding. This taught me how important it is to be patient, clear and adaptable when explaining difficult ideas. What clicks for one student may not work for another, and I enjoy finding the approach that works best for each individual.

My aim as a tutor is to help you build both understanding and confidence. Lessons are tailored to your syllabus, exam board and areas of weakness, using clear explanations, guided examples and exam-style practice.
I believe that if you cannot explain something simply, you do not fully understand it. Because of this, I focus on breaking down intimidating topics into simple, logical steps so you can build confidence in your own mathematical ability.
Maths is much easier when it is taught in a calm, structured way, and that is the environment I aim to create in every lesson. I want you to always feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving step by step. There are no stupid questions :)
Lessons are available for KS3, GCSE and A-Level Maths. Standard lessons are one hour long, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed.
