About Cathy
Hi! I’m Cathy, a UK-qualified English teacher with a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have 8 years of experience teaching in secondary schools and working with EAL/TEFL students, both in the UK and internationally.
I offer personalised online English lessons tailored to each student’s needs, whether you want to improve your speaking and confidence, develop your academic English, prepare for exams, or simply become more comfortable using English in everyday life.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and completely tailored to each student. I adapt my teaching to your level, interests and goals, so every lesson is useful and engaging.
Depending on what you are looking for, lessons can focus on conversation and speaking confidence, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing, academic English, exam preparation or support with schoolwork.
As a qualified teacher with experience in both secondary education and TEFL/EAL, I can work with students of different ages and abilities. I use a range of activities and real-world materials to make lessons practical and enjoyable, while giving you clear feedback and guidance to help you improve.
