About Hermione
I have tutored students from primary school level to postgraduate. I am currently tutoring KS2 students one-to-one online in History and English.
Most recently I have been holding online summer History GCSE classes for those entering into year 10 and year 11.
Additionally, I have been recently tutoring university and A-Level students in English Literature, particularly international students needing help with academic writing and essay structure. I was previously appointed by the head of humanities to tutor a small group of students in History, who were at risk of not passing, but were successful. This was a small group of 3/4 students, allowing me to be attentive to their needs, and also allowed me to work in partnership with the students, as they could voice what specifics they wanted to be taught.
I am familiar with the classroom setting, as I have been a teaching assistant during extra-curriculum weeks, as well giving tours and talks to prospective students and parents.

I can tutor a variety of levels from primary school to postgraduate. Whether you need any extra help with your weekly reading or if you need guidance on how to structure your thesis - I am your first point of call! I have graduated from University College London with a distinction in History MA, as well as possessing a first-class degree in English Literature and History. Likewise, I have professional experience working as a historian.
I believe one of my biggest assets within tutoring is that I am patient - I will go through one particular area with you until you can fully grasp it. I am dedicated to my students, and only want you to achieve the absolute best! I am friendly, outgoing, and most importantly I am approachable and hope to make the classes enjoyable.
