About Maggie
I am a postgraduate student at the ANU, with a First Class Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in History from the University of Warwick obtained in June 2020.
During my undergraduate, I specialised in early modern European history, in particular the development of baroque opera from 1600 to 1750 in Rome and Venice. As part of this specialist stream, I studied in Venice for the first term of my final year at Warwick. This did not stop me from studying racial history in the US, science history across Europe and Asia, and art history from Renaissance paintings in Europe to cinema and music of the 20th century during my time at Warwick.

I am keen to share my passion for history. Once I have understood the goals of my students, I will likely structure my lessons in the following way: first, a recap of previous lessons and what was studied outside of class, before studying new material and introducing new notions, giving help and special attention where necessary. It is important to me that my students understand the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of history.
