About Harriet
I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2021 with First Class Honours in History (MA), I am passionate about History, Politics, English Literature, and Language.
Throughout my degree I benefitted from a number of key approaches to essays and research projects, and I am keen to help students improve using these skills. I believe in building up enthusiasm for the subject in the student and also accuracy in constructing answers to hit those grade boundaries or simply improve reading and writing styles. Often for students, it is a combination of gaining confidence in their subject and writing, and effectively articulating their response with a focus that pushes their ability to the next level.

I am more than happy to adapt my lessons to each student's needs, whether it is focusing on a specific exam paper that needs attention, building confidence in reading and writing, and specific subject knowledge for History and English Literature papers. Essentially I am able to tailor the lesson to what works best for the student.
