About Amy

Hello, I’m Amy.

I have a First Class Honours degree in Childhood and Professional Studies, a TEFL qualification, and over 16 years of experience working with children across a variety of childcare and educational settings.

I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in their abilities and enjoy learning. I specialise in supporting primary-aged children with reading, literacy, English and homework support, providing patient and encouraging lessons tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, which has helped me develop a flexible and supportive approach. I understand that every child learns differently, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable, motivated and able to reach their potential.

I chose to teach because I enjoy helping children overcome challenges, build confidence and develop skills that will support them both in school and beyond. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child grow in confidence and realise what they are capable of achieving.

About the lesson

I am a First Class Honours Childhood and Professional Studies graduate with a TEFL qualification and extensive experience working with children through childcare and nannying roles.

I offer friendly and supportive online lessons for primary aged children who would benefit from help with reading, literacy, English, homework support, and building confidence in their learning.

Every child learns differently, so I tailor lessons to suit their individual needs, interests, and learning style. My aim is to create a positive and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, developing new skills, and growing in confidence.

Whether your child needs support with reading fluency, comprehension, spelling, writing, homework, or English language development, I provide patient and engaging sessions designed to help them make progress at their own pace.
