About Ilona
I'm a passionate and friendly tutor with a strong creative background and a love for helping students unlock their full potential. I was a Gifted & Talented student in Art at school (A grade), went on to earn a Distinction/Merit/Merit in my Art & Design diploma, and achieved a First Class BA (Hons) in Fashion Photography, where I was nominated for an award and exhibited across the UK. I’ve worked as a teaching assistant across all subjects, including with SEND students, and have delivered creative workshops as an ambassador for Leeds Arts University. This deepened my passion for teaching and mentoring! I hold a TEFL certificate, and also have a career background in copywriting and sales, holding a Distinction in the CIM Level 4 Award in Digital Marketing. This brings real-world experience and expertise into my teaching practice. I specialise in providing tailored, encouraging guidance. I create supportive, engaging lessons tailored to each learner’s needs. With school-based teaching assistance experience (including SEND) and strong subject knowledge, I help students improve confidently. Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes and suitable from ages 7+, including beginners and additional needs.
