About Jack
Having recently graduated from the University of Exeter, I truly understand the importance of having the right support network during your studies. I want to be able to pay it forward!
My experience in tutoring comes from a variety of places, from online tutoring itself, to running science lab practicals, and coaching local Judo lessons. All of which require a variety of skills that allow me to connect and tailor the tutoring experience in a way that students resonate with.

I take a very personal approach to my lesson planning. Each student has their own particular needs, and therefore must be taught in a way that suits them best. Building a rapport with each individual student allows me to more effectively tailor their learning experience, so a light-hearted, supportive environment is encouraged.
I believe that the best way to learn is through curiosity and interest, so my lessons are built to inspire eagerness and a passion for the subject, as well as building on critical thinking skills that the student will carry with them well beyond the classroom.
To compliment this approach, select resources will be used such as worksheets, class tasks, and past papers, in order to provide very concrete evidence of a student's improvements, and to provide feedback to parents.
My lessons are for GCSE and students, and will typically be 55 minutes long.
