About Archie
I am a first-class Neuroscience graduate with honours from the University of Edinburgh, currently pursuing classical and contemporary acting at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. With a passion for both the sciences and the arts, I aim to bring a well-rounded, dynamic approach to my tutoring.
I believe that learning should be engaging and tailored to each student's unique needs and interests. My goal is to foster a deeper understanding and curiosity for the subject matter, whether it’s breaking down complex scientific concepts or helping to develop critical thinking and study skills.

I have been tutoring Maths, Science, and Latin for nearly 7 years, working with students across a broad age range, from 11+ entrance exams to A-levels. My specific areas of expertise include GCSE-level Maths and Biology, where I’ve helped students not only improve their grades but also develop a deeper understanding of the subjects.
Throughout my tutoring career, I have worked with students of varying abilities, tailoring my approach to meet each student’s individual needs. I focus on building a solid foundation in core concepts while using proven exam techniques to enhance performance under pressure. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking, while also preparing students to excel in their exams.
I believe in using a student-centered approach, where lessons are personalized and adjusted based on the student’s learning style and goals. By fostering a collaborative atmosphere, I aim to empower my students to become confident, independent learners.
