About Nishen
Hi, I’m Nishen — an Oxford Engineering Science graduate with a First Class Honours degree and a Master's at Harrow School, where I teach Mathematics, Computer Science, and Design Technology & Engineering. I’m passionate about Engineering and Engineering education for a broad demographic of students from Year 8 students up until undergraduates. My tutoring approach is highly personalised and centred around understanding each student’s unique strengths and challenges. I begin by identifying your learning style and specific goals, then adapting my teaching methods to suit your needs. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where you can build confidence and develop a deep understanding of the subject matter. I place a strong emphasis on problem-solving and critical thinking, ensuring you’re equipped not only to grasp concepts but also to apply them effectively in exams and real-world contexts. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy travelling and exploring new cities. Oxford, with its rich cultural and academic heritage, remains a favourite. About Me I graduated with First Class Honours in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and have extensive experience teaching engineering and mathematics to students at both pre-university and undergraduate levels. I currently teach at an elite UK private school, mentoring high-achieving students on complex design and research projects from building one-person electric race cars to developing individualised research projects. My Approach to Teaching My tutoring style is rigorous yet supportive.
