About Natalie
I believe learning a language should be fun, engaging, and something you can enjoy without even realising how much you are learning. Having studied French for six years and achieved excellent GCSE and A-Level results, I understand both the academic challenges and how to overcome them.
My approach combines strong grammar foundations with immersion, conversation, and real-world French. My goal is to turn academic anxiety into confidence, helping students feel comfortable with the language while developing the skills and strategies needed to succeed.

Every lesson is tailored to the student’s interests, whether that is music, films, sport, travel, or anything else they enjoy. I use these interests to make French feel natural and engaging, combining conversation, cultural immersion, and focused grammar practice.
I also know the GCSE and A-Level French syllabus inside out, so lessons stay closely aligned with what students need to succeed. As exams approach, I focus heavily on exam technique, past-paper practice, and practical strategies to help students think on their feet and handle unexpected questions with confidence.
Any work between lessons is tailored to the student’s interests, making it feel less like homework and more like something they genuinely enjoy. My aim is for students to improve without even realising they are learning!
